Are your cribs safe?
All juvenile products are required by federal law to abide by the rules of the CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) in order for them to be sold to consumers. All of our cribs are manufactured to comply with the federal guidelines and standards set forth by the CPSC, as well as the ASTM (American Society of Testing Materials). Furthermore, we work with JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association), the umbrella organization to which most manufacturers of infant and toddler products belong, to ensure that our products have passed their rigorous tests and meet the standards for certification. Our cribs are made solid pine wood and in some cases Sepetir wood. We use non-toxic finishes and paints to finish all our products.
Are your cribs JPMA certified?
Many of our cribs are JPMA certified and the newer models are currently in the testing process. Being a company that continually grows, we strive to create new products and expand our product line to give our consumer a wider range of selection. We will always have new cribs that are undergoing certification testing.

What kind of wood are your cribs made out of?
Most of our cribs are made of Pine wood from sustainable forests in New Zealand. The New Zealand Radiata Pine, used in our furniture, is eco-friendly. We also use Rubber wood from Malaysia and Sepetir wood from harvested forests in other Asian countries. We NO longer use protected wood species like Ramin wood from Indonesia in any of our furniture.

Why does the color of my crib's headboard differ from the sides of the crib?
No two trees are alike, and no crib is fashioned from one single piece of wood. The weather will affect the finish of your product, but this is only part of a natural process for wood. The beauty of solid wood is the grain and marks that come to life with its natural finish. When referring to painted cribs, wood is also known to absorb paint differently; therefore, affecting the outcome of the finished product.

Are there supposed to be grain marks (small black streaks) on the crib?
Yes, sometimes, the grain is present due to the nature of the wood. The black streaks are sometimes the result of pronounced grain in the wood and can be attributed to mineral deposits in the wood. These streaks are not defects in the wood and are only natural.

Are your cribs convertible?
Most of our cribs are equipped with the safety-glide hardware system and can be converted from a crib to a toddler or daybed. Toddler conversion kits are available through a separate purchase. Our hidden hardware cribs can also convert from crib to toddler bed or daybed.
The static side or 4-in-1 crib can be converted from crib into toddler bed, daybed or full size bed. These models have the toddler rail included with the purchase of the cribs. Full size conversion kits are sold separately and can be purchased online by clicking here.
Some of our mini cribs are convertible to twin size bed as well. The twin size conversion kit for the conversion is sold separately.

My baby is chewing on the crib. Why isn't there a teething rail?
Crib designs are always changing, and it is not a JPMA standard to include teething rails on the newly designed convertible cribs. The traditional drop-side has evolved into static sides with wonderful curves and designs. Teething rails are designed for traditional drop-sides that are rectangular in shape. Although we do not recommend chewing on our products, the paint used is non-toxic and will not harm your child.

Can I get hardware to convert a crib without a moveable drop-side to a moveable drop-side?
Sorry, there is no hardware available to convert a non-moveable drop-side to a moveable drop-side. Some of our cribs were not designed to have moving parts.

Why did the hardware change from a stabilizer bar/crib rod to nylon safety-glide ?
This hardware changed for two reasons. First off, the nylon safety glide is easier to assemble, with fewer parts, and therefore requires less time. In addition, the nylon safety glide is quieter when releasing the drop side thus creating no metal banging on metal sounds. This new hardware provides a more quiet and user-friendly option for your crib.

My child's leg gets stuck on the slats. How can I prevent this from happening ?
The distance between the slats on Million Dollar Baby cribs are regulated through the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The regulation is not to exceed 2 3/8" between the slats. With slats spaced farther apart, a baby's leg could become trapped or stuck between the rails. All our cribs follow the regulation set by the CPSC and Million Dollar Baby proudly carries JPMA certified cribs.

I have a crib with the Safety-Glide Hardware system. After I install the drop side, it will not lock in place. It either locks on one side or it keeps falling down. How can I fix this?
What most likely happened was that the drop side was installed in the reverse direction. The drop side needs to be reversed and re-installed. Please review your instruction manual. Should you need a new manual, you may download one here. You can reference this page for images that can help you determine if the drop side was installed incorrectly.

I have a crib with the Safety-Glide Hardware system. When I tried to install the drop side, it would go up a few inches and then it becomes very difficult to slide it up and down. Sometimes it gets stuck even before I pull it all the way up to lock. How can I fix this?
This occurs when the incorrect wood screws were used with the bracket rails. Be sure to use the flat head wood screws for the bracket rails and not the round head wood screws. If installed incorrectly, the round head wood screws prohibit the drop side from moving as it is not flush with the rail.

After I had placed an order for a replacement part, I received a response telling me that my crib was not manufactured by Million Dollar Baby, but when I looked through your website, I saw the very same crib displayed. Why?
There are many manufacturers of cribs and although yours may look identical to the one on our website, it could very easily have been made by one of our competitors. To help you identify if your crib is from Million Dollar Baby, please look at one of the headboards that shows the company name, logo, and the serial number of your crib. If your crib is missing this identification you are not a Million Dollar Baby crib owner.

What do I do if there is no hardware inside the product I purchased?
Please visit our Parts page for further information. This page can be used for parts requests on all new cribs that are recently purchased. For all our other products, please visit our other hardware pages.

If I order a replacement part today, how long would it take before I receive my order?
We ship all of our parts via USPS or FedEx. Based on the availability of parts, it will take approximately 7-14 business days for it to be processed. We ship all of our parts ground, taking about a week or more to be delivered, depending on your location.

When I opened up the hardware box, I found that the screws were not all the same size as described in the instruction manual. What should I do?
Due to the hardware we acquire, there will be times when the screws are not exactly as described in the instruction manual. We constantly improve our products and, with these changes, it is sometimes necessary to change the hardware to accommodate the modification of the product. However, this does not affect the usability, functionality, nor safety of the product.

I don't have the serial number or the Purchase Order Lot number. Why can't I just purchase the parts I see on your website?
We want to ensure that the safety of your baby is not compromised. Our policy is not to sell any type of replacement parts for products without the proper serial number or the PO Lot number. They are needed for identification of your Million Dollar Baby product.

I can't find the part I need on your Parts page. How do I go about getting my missing part?
Due to changes and improvements made to our products, parts are not kept for more than 3 years from the date of manufacture for safety reasons. Parts not found on our Parts page probably means that it has been discontinued. You can always contact Products America at 1-800-772-1041. They sell generic crib parts, and have helped many of our customers out in the past.

Can you ship orders and parts to me internationally?
We are sorry but we do not ship orders or part request to addresses overseas. Please provide us with a ship-to address within the continental US. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, AFOs, APOs, or PO Boxes.
